Returns

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us immediately at sales@scholarsconsortium.com  so we can promptly address the matter.

Merchandise must be returned unused, in saleable like-new condition. See Return Policy Terms for additional restrictions.

Important note: Except in cases where the return is the result of a shipping error or the item arrives damaged or defective, original shipping charges are non-refundable.  All return shipping fees including insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless Scholars Consortium, LLC, agrees in writing to cover the cost of return shipping for defective merchandise.

Return Instructions:


To start the return process, email us at:  sales@scholarsconsortium.com  and we will promptly provide you with detailed instructions on how to return your merchandise for a refund or exchange. We will also provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number for each return, which is valid for 14 days. A valid RA number must be included with your return in order to assure proper credit. We will not accept merchandise returned without a valid RA number.

Return Policy Terms
:
  • Original and return shipping charges are not refundable.
  • A refund can only be issued to the original credit card or account used for the initial purchase. If payment is made by check, the refund will be sent to the address originally supplied with the order.
  • Textbooks and other educational resources must be returned within 14 days of delivery, at the buyer's expense.  Orders fulfilled with delivery outside of the Continental United States are not refundable. 
  • Returned books and textbooks must be in the same condition in which we shipped them to you.  Access cards and CDs must be unopened on new books and all components and other resources sent with the book must be included for a refund to be processed.  Please email us at sales@scholarsconsortium.com with any questions.
  • We will credit the sales amount once the book or other merchandise arrives and is inspected meeting all return criteria.  Typically, this process can take 6-10 business days or more after receiving the return item(s).
  • You will be responsible for any damage that may occur to returned items during transit.  We require a trackable shipping service.  We recommend that you purchase insurance for returned items from the shipper.  C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted by Scholars Consortium, LLC or any assumed agent.
All returns must include the following:
  • Customer Receipt
  • Original Packing Slip
  • Return Authorization Number
Additional Considerations:

Please inspect all merchandise immediately upon receipt.  Any damaged or missing items must be reported within 3 days of delivery by emailing: sales@scholarsconsortium.com.

Scholars Consortium, LLC reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise not complying with the terms of our return policy.
